COMPARISON

Rippit vs. Solidroad for Conversation Analysis and Agents (2026): Differences, Pricing, and When to Use Both

Short answer: Solidroad trains and grades support agents.[1] It scores conversations against your custom scorecards[2] and lets agents practice with AI customer simulations.[3]

Rippit is built for one job: analyzing and acting on every customer conversation at scale.[4] It reads every conversation, turns what it finds, from root causes and churn signals to coaching needs, into structured data,[5] and runs AI agents that monitor, analyze and act on that data.[4]

The two fit together: Rippit finds the problem, and Solidroad helps agents practice fixing it. Rippit is also built to be easy to start and inexpensive to run. It has a free plan with $100 in AI credits, public paid plans from $185/month, and AI credits billed at cost.[6] In Rippit's coverage benchmark, it read 1,000 transcripts in full for about six cents,[25] and you can connect Zendesk or Intercom in one click[7] and go live in minutes.[4] Solidroad doesn't publish pricing, and its site steers buyers to booking a demo.[8]

01 · THE DIFFERENCE

What's the difference between Rippit and Solidroad?

Solidroad improves how agents perform. Rippit explains what's happening in your customer conversations and why.

Solidroad describes itself as "an AI-native quality assurance and training platform for enterprise customer experience teams."[1] It grades conversations with custom scorecards,[2] then turns gaps into practice: agents work through AI customer simulations across chat, email, phone and video, graded against your guidelines and SOPs.[3] It evaluates both human agents and AI agents.[1]

Rippit is AI conversation analytics and agents, built for scale.[4] It connects to your helpdesk, analyzes every conversation,[4] and turns what it finds (intent, root cause, sentiment, churn signal, resolution) into fields you can filter, trend and build on.[13] Agents then monitor those fields, analyze them and act on what they find.[4] Support agent performance is one use. Product feedback, churn risk and chatbot monitoring are others.[11]

For example, take a spike in refund complaints. Solidroad flags the agents who missed the refund process and gives them a simulation tied to that issue.[12] Rippit shows how often the pattern happens, whether the cause is an agent miss, a confusing policy or a product bug, and whether it's getting worse.[13]

02 · SETUP AND COST

How do setup and cost compare?

Rippit is built to be self-serve. Sign up on the free plan, connect Zendesk, Intercom, Granola or Gong in one click[7] and go live in minutes.[4] There's no scorecard or simulation library to build before you see results: describe the question in plain English, and Rippit adds the answer as a field across every conversation.[13]

Rippit is also built to be inexpensive at volume. Every plan is published, from a free plan with $100 in AI credits to Growth at $495/month, and AI credits are billed at cost with no markup.[6] In Rippit's coverage benchmark, a full read of 1,000 transcripts cost about six cents.[25]

Solidroad's setup starts from your quality standards: rubrics, guidelines, SOPs and knowledge base.[3] It doesn't publish pricing, and its site's main call to action is booking a demo.[8] To compare total cost, get a Solidroad quote at the same conversation volume and channels, and ask how simulations, scorecards and seats are priced.

How does Rippit analyze every conversation?

1,000 conversations or 1,000,000: Rippit reads every one, for any question, not just what's on a scorecard.[4]

Rippit runs an AI engine built to label conversations in bulk: AI enriches every conversation[4] and stores the results as structured, queryable data,[5] so analysis and agents can work across all of it. Reading every conversation for more than QA doesn't have to be expensive. In Rippit's own coverage benchmark, it read all 1,000 transcripts in full for about six cents, the same full read that cost about $61 per question with a map-reduce approach.[25] Questions then run on those stored fields across the full dataset, instead of rereading transcripts each time, so asking the same question again returns the same answer.[25] For open-ended questions no existing field answers, Rippit also runs ad hoc deep dives[5] on up to 10,000 conversations at a time, and what they find can feed new analysis and agents.

That changes three things:

1,000 conversations or 1,000,000. Rippit reads every one.
Counts are complete
"What share of refund conversations went unresolved?" is computed across every refund conversation, not a sample.[6]
New questions reach the past
Describe a new field in plain English, and Rippit applies it to past conversations in a single run.[13]
Every number is checkable
Each result is a field on a specific conversation, so you can open the conversations behind any count.[5]

Solidroad also scores 100% of conversations with its AI Scorecards.[2] The difference is what gets measured. A scorecard asks whether the agent met the quality bar. Rippit answers any question you describe, across every conversation: why customers contact you, what stays unresolved, who's at risk of churning and where the bot fails.[4]

Full coverage matters because manual QA typically reaches 1–5% of interactions.[17] Before Rippit, Klaviyo reviewed fewer than 2% of its 600,000+ annual support incidents. With Rippit, it opened up 2.5 million conversations that had never been analyzed.[11]

04 · USE BOTH

Can you use Rippit and Solidroad together?

Yes. The tools do different jobs. Rippit finds what's going wrong in real conversations, and a training tool like Solidroad helps agents practice fixing it.

In Rippit's review of 2,345 of its own sales conversations from 2025–2026, prospects who brought up Solidroad most often described it as a training and simulation tool. Several were deciding between a coaching-first platform and an insights-first one, and some planned to use both.[19]

A combined workflow looks like this:

  • Find the pattern. Rippit does the mass-scale enrichment. It analyzes every conversation in scope[4] for behavioral patterns, process adherence and skill gaps,[9] and stores each judgment as a field on that conversation.[13] That's how Brex scales coaching without manual sampling.[9]
  • Dig into the why. Rippit runs the deep dives: ad hoc analysis on up to 10,000 conversations at a time, for questions no existing field answers yet.[5]
  • Separate coaching problems from everything else. Not every bad conversation is an agent problem. Rippit also tags onboarding friction, product gaps and competitor mentions, so product and CS teams own their share of the fix.[9]
  • Train on it. Solidroad generates "a realistic simulation tied to that specific issue"[12] and grades practice against your rubric.[3]
05 · SCORECARDS VS. ANALYSIS

How is Rippit's analysis different from Solidroad's QA scorecards?

Solidroad's scorecards grade agents on criteria you define, such as communication, technical accuracy, compliance and process adherence, with custom weighting and automatic pass/fail triggers.[2][14][15] That's a strong fit for a structured QA and coaching program.

Rippit classifies each conversation across 10+ dimensions in one pass, including intent, root cause, sentiment, urgency, churn signal and resolution.[13] You describe the insight you want,[4] and Rippit adds it as a field across every conversation.[5]

06 · PRICING

How much do Rippit and Solidroad cost?

Rippit publishes its pricing. Paid plans bill AI credits at cost.[6] Solidroad doesn't publish its pricing.[18]

What do teams use Rippit for?

  • Brex replaced manual QA sampling with AI review of 100% of conversations. It analyzes every agent conversation for behavioral patterns, process adherence and skill gaps, found churn risk in 3% of conversations, and feeds those signals into CSM workflows.[9]
  • Klaviyo monitors every chatbot conversation to surface failure patterns, analyzed a full month of product-launch conversations in two hours, and reports a productivity gain of about 40% in under 12 months.[11]
  • Checkr broke dissatisfaction down into specific "atomic problems." One billing cluster showed 47% predicted CSAT and a 58% unresolved rate, which the team took to its Chief Product Officer. Checkr says its time from insight to action went "from weeks to hours."[20]
